HUMAN MACHINES

With ‘machine’ we refer to the mechanism of the fast fashion industry in which the machine is facilitating ultimate efficiency
and high productivity. As a reaction to this system, we build awareness machines based on human power. Machines that
operate against the blindness of waste production. Machines that create awareness by means of physical encounters and the
resistance participants have to overcome when working with discarded post-consumer fleece material. Fashion Machine pro-
duces a massive collective gesture with a strong visual impact.
